About NASPAG Research Committee
The NASPAG Research Committee is committed to fostering high quality research among our members, creating opportunities for collaboration, and providing ongoing educational opportunities for members interested in research endeavors.
A. Committee Structure:
1. Ten to fifteen members with a balance of representation across medical disciplines and involvement of allied health professional. 2. Commitment of 3 years, with opportunity to renew for a second consecutive 3-year term 3. Membership entails active participation in ongoing research projects, attendance of regular conference calls, and participation on one of the five Work Groups

C. Research Committee Working Groups
1. Mentoring Work Group: provides research mentor support to trainees and junior faculty 2. Journal Club Work Group: recommends high quality manuscripts that have been published in JPAG to the NASPAG membership each quarterly and provides accompanying discussion questions for use as independent learning or for facilitating journal club meetings 3. Fellow Research Consortium (FRC) Work Group: provides senior level oversight and support to the NASPAG FRC 4. Grant Work Group: solicits and manages funding to support research conducted by trainees and faculty at all levels and disciplines relevant to the PAG field. 5. Research Education Work Group: manages a five-year rotating curriculum that provides education about research methodologies for NASPAG members, including sponsoring educational activities at the ACRM
