Asking About Gender Identity in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Clinic: Patient, Family, and Provider Perspectives. (The REFLECTIVE Study) This survey is being conducted by Dr. H. Sema Baghaki, recipient of a 2023 NASPAG Young Investigators Grant Award, and by Dr. Tazim Dowlut-McElroy at Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas City. The purpose of this survey study is to assess the acceptability and feasibility of asking about gender identity in Pediatric and Adolescent clinics in North America. Your participation is voluntary. Responses are completely anonymous. The information that you provide in the survey will not be linked to your computer, email address, or other electronic identifiers. Data will be aggregated and summarized in publications and presentations. Individual results will not be communicated. Researchers do not expect any risks from your participation in this study. There is always a potential for a breach of confidentiality. Researchers will take the necessary steps to prevent this risk from happening by keeping the records of this study confidential. Your membership with NASPAG is not affected in any way by participating or not participating in the study.
