NASPAG Young Investigators Research Awards - Deadline Oct 4th!

The NASPAG Research Committee is pleased to announce that NASPAG is offering two Young Investigators Research Awards of $1,500 each. The goal of the grants is to enhance pediatric and adolescent gynecology care and research by encouraging the work of trainees in PAG, adolescent medicine and related fields. 

Awardees are expected to present at an upcoming NASPAG ACRM. As part of the grant, their conference registration fees will be waived. However, receipt of an award does not guarantee an oral or poster presentation.

To be eligible to apply, applicants must be:

  • A current fellow in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Adolescent Medicine, Pediatric Endocrinology, or a related field, a current resident in a related field, or an early career physician within 2 years of completing training
  • Based in the US or Canada
  • NASPAG members (may join after receiving the award)

To apply, please send the completed application, including the following:

  • A candidate statement.  This should include the type of fellowship program in which the candidate is enrolled, current institution, summary of training to date and planned career path, and short- and long-term career goals.
  • Study proposal (approximately 2-3 pages), including rationale, significance, the research gap the project addresses, study aims, methods and data analysis, and limitations
  • Budget request
  • Current curriculum vitae (CV, resume, or NIH biosketch format acceptable)
  • Mentor letter of support (may be from department chair if out of training) ensuring adequate support and resources
