Dear NASAPG family,
As the summer draws to a close and the weather gets a little cooler and we take a breath and steady ourselves for fall, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all you have done to make this year such a success for NASPAG and share some updates.
I am happy to report that YOU have continued to support NASPAG not just in your hard work and care for our patients but also with your financial support. We hope that as we have been more transparent about how your donations help to fund NASPAG, you have felt more empowered to continue to share in your generosity, knowing that your donations are doing good and important work.
In 2024 thus far, we have raised over $31,000 in donations. This is tremendous and has helped NASPAG to continue its mission to advance the reproductive care of our youth. We are grateful to the donors who have helped to build our endowment fund which helps us sustain and support the future success of NASPAG; the donors who have helped us build our educational funds which support our ACRM plenary speakers, our ACRM research awards and travel funds for young scholars to attend the ACRM. We are also grateful for our monthly donors who have given to NASPAG consistently over this past year. Please see our website for a full description of our donations and how they are used to support NASPAG: https://www.naspag.org/donation-menu
As you are aware we are incredibly excited to host a NASPAG webinar on the CDC Updates in Contraceptive Medical Eligibility Criteria on Oct 8th. We have over 200 registrants and there is still time for YOU to register and learn from our colleagues at the CDC about these important updates. More importantly we have raised over $100 in individual donations from our webinar registrants which will help to fund future webinars. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement about a joint webinar between NASPAG and SAHM coming this December.
I’d also like to take this time to introduce a NEW member of our Tally team. As NASPAG has grown, our needs as an organization have grown and changed. Your Board has done its best to meet these needs with the appropriate administrative support. I would like to introduce our new Talley Executive Account Manager-- Andrea Taylor. Andrea has been with Talley for many years and has previously worked with NASPAG, so she is aware of who we are and all the wonderful and important things you all do every day to take care of our young people. Our meeting team has not changed and administrative support from Samantha Healy will continue. We do ask that if you need NASPAG support from Talley please use our main email address ([email protected]). As with all transitions, there is bound to be a learning curve so please reach out to me if you have any questions or any concerns.
I look forward to seeing you all in Toronto at our 2025 ACRM. Be on the lookout as our meeting registration website will be open soon!
Take care of yourselves,
Mary
NASPAG President
