NASPAG List serve possibly initiated in 2007-2008 when Dr. Eduardo Lara-Torre was the Website Committee Chair. Foster a confidential site where members could discuss cases and elicit opinions from colleagues.

Dr. Susan Kaufman began as moderator in 2010 when the list serve became more formalized and controlled with disclosure language holding NASPAG non liable for the correspondence

In 2017, the Website committee took over as moderator.

Development of the NASPAG Fellowship Family Tree - 2014

Dr. Mary Anne Jamieson, MD and Yael Pecchioli, BScH developed a “family tree” tracking the growth of fellowship trained PAG providers.

The family tree showed how one mentor might train multiple trainees and how trainees later became mentors. The tree which contained 379 “family members” also represented the many specialties involved in PAG

The tree would be much larger if additions were made to include years from 2014 to 2024

Certification in PAG - 2018

The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) formalized recognition of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology by developing a Focused Practice Designation Exam in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. The first ABOG focused practice committee included, Drs. Paige Hertweck-Chair of Committee, Geri Hewitt, Jennifer Dietrich, Staci Pollack, Julie Strickland, Joseph Sanfilippo, and Lies Quint.

PAG articles are now included in MOC for all OB/GYNs to choose. This has greatly improved visibility for PAG and will lead to better education of OB/GYNs in PAG issues. (Dr. Lies Quint)
