Resident Education Committee

The Resident Education committee aims to improve the gynecologic care of children and adolescents through creating and disseminating high quality, accessible, interactive, and up-to-date educational resources that improve the knowledge and skills of ob/gyn and pediatric residents. We have developed both a short and long curriculum which we regularly update.  Support for educators of these residents through workshops and training sessions is also a critical part of our mission.  The committee members include both ob/gyn and pediatric educators as well as an in-training member.

  • Resident Education Long Curriculum: Designed to meet the resident learning objectives for the Resident Education in OB/GYN, the AAP, and  Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Resident Education Short Curriculum:  Outlines specific learning objectives. Lists high-yield, concise resources for learners. Updated version focuses on accessible online content and updated resources. Provides a more intensive, broader learning experience.
  • PAGWEBED:  35+ interactive cases. Categorized by topic, surgical/non-surgical. FREE to members; Available for purchase by individuals or program directors for learners
  • PAG Over Pastries Podcast: An educational podcast and video series that bring accessible and engaging educational content to the PAG community, including residents, fellows, and generalists. Based on the NASPAG Essentials of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Book and other PAG resources.
