Position Overview
The Editor-in-Chief will provide strategic direction and editorial leadership for the journal, ensuring the publication of impactful, timely and scientifically rigorous content.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the journal’s editorial vision and strategic priorities
- Oversee peer review and editorial decision-making processes
- Recruit and collaborate with an international editorial board
- Promote diversity, equity and inclusion in authorship and content
- Represent the journal at scientific meetings
- Provide periodic updates to the Board of the North American Society for Pediatric Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG)
Qualifications & Time Commitment
- Established leader in pediatric and adolescent gynecology
- Strong record of scholarly achievement
- Leadership and management skills
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Prior editorial experience preferred
- Commitment and future availability clearly addressed-Estimated 15-20 hours/week
