Position Overview

The Editor-in-Chief will provide strategic direction and editorial leadership for the journal, ensuring the publication of impactful, timely and scientifically rigorous content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the journal’s editorial vision and strategic priorities
  • Oversee peer review and editorial decision-making processes
  • Recruit and collaborate with an international editorial board
  • Promote diversity, equity and inclusion in authorship and content
  • Represent the journal at scientific meetings
  • Provide periodic updates to the Board of the North American Society for Pediatric Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG)

Qualifications & Time Commitment

  • Established leader in pediatric and adolescent gynecology
  • Strong record of scholarly achievement
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills
  • Prior editorial experience preferred
  • Commitment and future availability clearly addressed-Estimated 15-20 hours/week
