Purpose: The purpose of the NASPAG Fellows Research Consortium (FRC) is to enable fellows to work collaboratively, with both peers and leaders, to conduct multi-center research. Projects produced by the FRC are expected to be multi-centered studies that advance research pertaining to pediatric and adolescent gynecology and increase scientific impact in medical literature. The FRC aims to increase visibility and recognition of NASPAG as a research leader in the field. The consortium also fosters relationships with colleagues throughout North America that will continue beyond fellowship.
Membership: Membership to the FRC is available to NASPAG members currently enrolled in any fellowship training program, including but not limited to Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Adolescent Medicine or Pediatric or Reproductive Endocrinology, along with those within 5 years out of fellowship.
Individuals seeking membership should be prepared to actively participate in research and meetings related to FRC activities. The NASPAG FRC is supported and supervised by the Senior Advisory Boards, which includes the NASPAG Research Committee and its members. A Junior Advisory Board of NASPAG members who recently completed fellowship also serves as mentors and supervisors of FRC research.
